Romanian Conservatives are having a meeting today to talk about whether to quit government structures or not. Their leader Dan Voiculescu announced last week that the Political Committee would analyze the idea and the National Committee of the Party would then reach a final decision.
Last week there was press information that the CNSAS (National Council for Research on the Communist Secret Service Archive) decided Dan Voiculescu had been involved in political police activity. In spite of getting no official decision from the CNSAS, Voiculescu announced that if they proved that Coalition partners had been plotting against him, his party could no longer continue as member of the government.
