Dan Voiculescu's Conservatives will be expelled from structures in power unless they give up wish to have their own candidate to run for president of the Chamber of Deputies and support Liberal candidate Bogdan Olteanu, the Alliance's choice. Liberal Ludovic Orban and Democrat Cezar Preda announced it at the end of last week.
While in Targu Mures on Saturday Orban said that after PC (the Conservative Party) got the Romanian Lottery for Liliana Ghervasuc, they would better withdraw Daniela Popa's candidacy to president of the Chamber of Deputies. Orban claimed both the Democrat Party and the Democrat Union of Magyars in Romanian were for Bogdan Olteanu. He expressed dissatisfaction with the Conservatives' attitude. He said the latter would have to pack their bags unless they supported Liberal candidate Bogdan Olteanu. He also claimed that Conservatives' leader Dan Voiculescu would be kicked out if he admitted Social-Democrat Adrian Nastase, ex president of the Chamber of Deputies, in PC. Orban even mentioned the officials at rule would get rid of PC if there were the slightest talks between Nastase and the Conservatives.
