Yule sau Yuletide (Timpul lui Yule) este o sărbătoare germană precreștină care marchează solstițiul de iarnă (21 decembrie), prima zi a iernii, noaptea cea mai lungă a anului și nașterea Noului Soare care va lumina pământul în anul care urmează. Era ținută de germani și de triburile (popoarele) învecinate și a fost absorbită mai târziu în Crăciunul creștinilor. Una din primele referințe la această sărbătoare este denumirea lunilor de către vechii germani: Ærra Jéola (înainte de Yule) sau Jiuli / Æftera Jéola (după Yule). Cercetătorii au făcut conexiunea cu sărbătorirea zeului Odin sau al celui păgân anglo-saxon, Modranicht.
