On Saturday morning 7 coal miners died and 5 were injured in Anina mine (property of Banat-Anina Mining Company), in the district of Caras-Severin, in an explosion taking place at 5: 30 because of gas accumulation. The corpses of the 5 coal miners identified - Ion Vasile Marc (aged 27), Daniel Balan Cristian (aged 29), Virgil Schaider (aged 43), Daniel Vinau (aged 30) and Danut Puscau (aged 39) - could only be removed Saturday afternoon because of gas accumulation. The rescue team from Petrosani found the corpses of the other 2 miners, initially missing - Matei Izarnar (aged 52) and Gheorghe Marisescu (aged 45). (...) (C.P.)
