Last evening Romanian soccer team Rapid defeated SV Hamburg in Bucharest with 2-0, in a game for UEFA championships. Niculae and Buga scored two splendid goals. President Basescu and PM Tariceanu watched the game from the stadium, sitting next to vice PM George Copos, owner of Rapid. Hamburg official Doll admitted the Romanians played better: "It's no shame to be defeated by a sensational team like Rapid!"(...) (D.S.)
